        A fire drill will be conducted this week in order to comply with the Standards of Accreditation, which state that every public school will conduct at least one fire drill during each month of school.

        Faculty Professional Development for the week of Oct. 23-27


        Red Ribbon Week is a great opportunity for us to encourage students to lead a healthy, drug free lifestyle, and will be celebrated all week long.  On Wednesday (10/25) Mr. Kelly will be in the Commons for all 3 lunch periods collecting signatures from students who pledge to live drug free.  Every student who pledges will receive a "Proud to be drug free!" pencil, and have their name entered in a raffle.

            The First 9 Week Grading Period Ends on Tuesday, October 10.  Teachers at PCHS are required to have their first 9 weeks grades finalized by 3:30PM on Friday, October 13 for administrative review (grades roll on 10/17).  Report Cards will be send home with students on Friday, October 20. 

            Congratulations to Ann Williams!  She was selected as the Pulaski County Public Schools Employee of the Month for September.  Ann works in the Food and Nutrition Department at PCHS.

            Congratulations to Sarah Reid! She was selected as the Pulaski County Public Schools Teacher of the Month for September.  Sarah teaches Spanish at PCHS.

            Senior submissions for Yearbook The yearbook staff is accepting submissions from seniors and any items submitted prior to the deadline are greatly appreciated. Any senior needing another yellow packet should look on the Yearbook Bulletin in the hallway next to my classroom, D-14. Please submit these items to Mrs. McAfee.

              2017 Investments In Learning Assembly


              The Investments in Learning Assembly was held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.  Congratulations to over 350 students who were honored for achieving high academic standards and/or perfect attendance during the previous school year.  The Class of 2018 nominees for the Most Valuable Cougar were also named.  The Most Valuable Cougar is the highest recognition given to a student by our school.  The nominees were chosen by the senior class and the winner of the Most Valuable Cougar award will be revealed at the Senior Awards Assembly in May 2019.
