2018 Investments in Learning Ceremony

The Investments in Learning Assembly was held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.  Congratulations to over 350 students who were honored for achieving high academic standards and/or perfect attendance during the previous school year.  The Class of 2019 nominees for the Most Valuable Cougar were also named.  The Most Valuable Cougar is the highest recognition given to a student by our school.  The nominees were chosen by the senior class and the winner of the Most Valuable Cougar award will be revealed at the Senior Awards Assembly in May 2019.

          Parent - Teacher Conference forms were sent home with students last week. Parents/guardians are encouraged to schedule a conference with their child's teachers. It is also strongly encouraged that the student attends these conferences so that they may be included in conversations regarding their progress. The conference date is set for Thurs, 10/18 (3-7PM) and Fri, 10/19 (8AM - Noon).

          3 Hour Early Release Schedule - 10/11/2018

          Pulaski County Public Schools will dismiss three hours early on Thursday, October 11 due to the risk of flooding in the area.

          3 Hour Early Release Schedule

          Block 1 – 8:28-9:17
          Block 2 – 9:21-10:10   
          Block 3 – 10:14-11:33
                            1st lunch: 10:10-10:35
                              2nd lunch:  10:39-11:04
                                 3rd lunch:  11:08-11:33    
          Block 4 – 11:37-12:22 


          All after school activities must end by 2:30 p.m. and there will be no transportation for any after school activities, so please plan accordingly. Any coaches who chose to hold practice cannot make it mandatory since we will not be providing transportation.

          JV V Volleyball vs. Blacksburg is postponed
          Middle School Football vs Radford (@DMS) is postponed
          The band will not participate in the Pulaski Fire Parade
